Receiving
Coordinate inbound shipments and confirm intake requirements before products arrive.
Our independent U.S. logistics partnership supports inventory receiving, product preparation and coordination across appropriate retail channels.
PRIMORDIX LLC works with an independent third-party logistics provider operating in New Jersey. Depending on the product and agreed scope of service, this relationship can support shipment receiving, inspection, labeling, storage, packing preparation and onward shipping coordination.
This is a service partnership, not a company-owned warehouse or a physical retail showroom. We make that distinction clear because accurate representation is part of how we build supplier trust.
The following steps describe available coordination activities; the specific service plan depends on supplier arrangements and logistics-provider capabilities.
Coordinate inbound shipments and confirm intake requirements before products arrive.
Request intake checks and condition verification based on the product and agreed services.
Arrange labeling, packaging or other handling requirements for applicable channels.
Organize inventory movement and shipping preparation within the agreed fulfillment process.
Receiving. Inspection. Preparation. Coordination.
Available through independent logistics services and arranged according to the shipment, product and agreed terms.
Coordinate receipt of supplier shipments and the information needed to process them correctly.
Support product intake checks, item identification and handling requirements as applicable.
Arrange relevant packaging, labels and inventory preparation for selected channels.
Coordinate movement to fulfillment locations or eligible commercial destinations.
Support planned stock handling and replenishment decisions alongside logistics partners.
Maintain appropriate supplier documentation and operational instructions for each arrangement.
PRIMORDIX does not represent its independent logistics partner's facilities as company-owned, does not operate a walk-in retail storefront, and does not claim access to services beyond the arrangements actually available for an engagement.
Tell us what you manufacture or supply and what logistics or purchasing arrangement you have in mind.
Our independent third-party logistics relationship in New Jersey helps us coordinate physical inventory handling without representing the facility as a PRIMORDIX-owned building. The appropriate services are selected according to the purchase, product and destination.
Confirm the appropriate receiving location, product identifiers, carton or pallet configuration, appointment requirements where applicable and documents supplied by the shipper.
Coordinate intake of the shipment with the logistics provider. Where included in the service arrangement, cartons and products can be checked against the agreed intake information and exceptions escalated.
Arrange storage and required project services such as relabeling, barcode handling, bundling or protective preparation only where agreed, suitable and available.
Confirm shipment method, ship-to instructions and handling documents for the approved retail or business destination. Carrier choice, timing and cost depend on the specific arrangement.
Address quantity discrepancies, damaged shipments, missing labels or documentation issues through the provider’s defined communication and claims procedures.
Receiving accuracy starts with clear information from the supplier. Depending on the product and shipment, the following items may need to be established before we authorize delivery.
| Workstream | Typical information reviewed | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Product identity | Manufacturer name, SKU/part number, variant, UPC/EAN where applicable | Supports accurate receiving, identification and inventory records. |
| Shipment configuration | Unit/carton counts, case pack, dimensions, weight and pallet configuration | Helps plan receiving, space needs and transportation. |
| Commercial documents | Purchase-order reference, packing list, invoice and origin information where required | Supports quantity verification and commercial reconciliation. |
| Handling requirements | Fragile contents, preparation instructions, labeling requirements and product restrictions | Reduces preventable handling mistakes and unsuitable routing. |
| Destination planning | Authorized ship-to location, channel requirements, carrier constraints and deadlines | Determines how inventory should be prepared and dispatched. |
A clear operating structure avoids confusion between the party purchasing inventory, the provider handling physical goods and the supplier shipping products.
Confirms ordered product, approved product information, packing configuration and applicable commercial and channel requirements.
Reviews the commercial arrangement, coordinates relevant instructions, purchasing and inventory decisions, and remains the supplier-facing business contact.
Performs agreed physical services under its own operational policies, service scope and facility procedures.
Our logistics descriptions are capabilities available through a third-party relationship, not a guarantee that every service is included, available for every product, or performed at a single facility.
Even simple inventory movements can fail when information is missing. Our procurement and logistics planning considers the exceptions that can affect availability and product presentation.
Review whether the supplier’s unit labeling, packaging and identifiers align with the intended destination. Any new labeling or bundling needs approval and an appropriate service arrangement.
Where discrepancies or transport damage are identified, the response depends on carrier rules, intake evidence and contractual responsibility. We seek a clear record before determining next steps.
Not every product is suitable for every facility or fulfillment route. Regulated, fragile, temperature-sensitive or restricted items require separate review and may be excluded.
Products imported across borders can involve additional customs, tax, origin, classification and importer-of-record requirements. Those are assessed case by case rather than assumed to be included in normal domestic handling.
Describe your product, shipment origin and expected handling requirements so we can discuss whether our model is suitable.
